AI in PI’s List of AI Related Products
These are products we’ve covered over the years that include AI. These products may be of use to PI attorneys. They may also give rise to future PI cases. This is a different list than our running list of AI products and services for PI attorneys, which is a members-only list developed by our working groups and through tech showcases.

Autonomous vehicles:
- Tesla continues to lead with its Autopilot and Full Self-Driving capabilities, available in all current models including the Model 3, Model Y, Model S, and Model X.
- General Motors (GM) offers Super Cruise, a hands-free driving technology, in several models across its Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC brands. GM is also planning to introduce Ultra Cruise, which aims to expand autonomous capabilities beyond highways.
- Ford and Volkswagen Group through their collaboration with Argo AI, are testing self-driving vehicles in various cities, highlighting Ford’s significant investment in autonomous vehicle technology.
- Honda has introduced the Honda Legend with Level 3 autonomy in Japan, marking a significant step in autonomous driving capabilities.
- Hyundai Motor Group announced a massive investment towards autonomous driving technologies, with plans to launch Level 4 vehicles for fleets by 2024 and for the public by 2027.
- Mercedes-Benz has received regulatory approval for Level 3 autonomous driving in Europe, a first for the industry, with its Drive Pilot system available on specific models.
- Polestar, Volvo’s performance brand, plans to offer a Level 3 autonomous driving system in its upcoming Polestar 3 SUV, utilizing partnerships with leading tech companies.
- Stellantis aims for Level 3 autonomy by 2024, developing new software platforms in collaboration with BMW and Waymo to enhance its autonomous driving capabilities.
