AI in PI
AI in PI is an ecosystem comprised of several units.
The AI in PI community brings together attorneys, law firm administrators, staff members, legal technology vendors and professionals, and legal service professionals. These individuals exchange information, practices, and product to advance the PI field using AI. We also engage in substantive work concerning the impact of AI on PI practice, including individual lawsuits and mass tort litigations.
Mass Torts AI is a similar community within the ecosystem. There are overlapping subgroups with AI in PI to explore specific use cases such as records analysis, depositions, and remote proceedings.
The ecosystem connects independent organizations and companies as well. These networks provide advisory, consultancy, educational, and other professional services. Investors, freelancers, and others connect through this network on various engagements. Members also connect their law firms through Methodology to share best practices, work flows, and work product, and to develop business including joint venture litigations.
Our Story
AI in PI is over a decade in the making. Since the buzzwords of days passed, Big Data and Analytics, members have tracked and embraced technology and optimized legal work flows. ChatGPT’s eye-opening focus on generative AI presented the opportunity to consolidate and solidify fragmented efforts across the industry within one community.
Rather than continuing in silos and struggling within firm committees we began to coalesce in the early 2020s to form what is now the AI in PI community.
